HR without the B'S**t!
I’m Bev, founder of BVLR HR Consultancy Ltd.
I help small businesses sort out their people stuff, properly, fairly, and without drowning in HR waffle.
After 20+ years in corporate HR roles (think Payroll, Benefits, Employee Relations, HR Manager... the lot), I decided it was time to ditch the red tape and bring straightforward, real-world HR support to the businesses that actually need it most, the small and mighty ones.
💬 Why I do what I do
Because I’ve seen the damage poor people management can do, to teams, to businesses, and to individuals. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect at work. And I believe that small business owners deserve expert support without feeling like they’ve walked into a corporate boardroom.
My mission? To give you the confidence and clarity to handle your HR with less stress and more heart, and yes, to help you avoid legal headaches too.

I live in the South West with my daughter, where we share our lives (and many walks), with our Cockapoo Coby.
When I’m not untangling HR headaches, I’m usually outdoors, adding too much sass to conversations, or working on ways to make HR feel a little less… grey.
